Devin “D” Loyd is the founder and host of the U Talk Sports Show, the Miami-centric fan program he has built into a 22,000-plus-subscriber YouTube channel and a 340-episode podcast. Born and raised in Florida, he played football and basketball for the Avon Park Red Devils and planned to attend the University of Miami to play football before life took him a different direction — one that led to Atlanta, Georgia, where he lives today with his wife and two daughters.
That Florida upbringing set the loyalties he still broadcasts every week: the Miami Hurricanes, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Las Vegas Raiders. Since launching the channel in October 2019, D has grown U TALK from a living-room fan take into “The People’s Show,” a Friday-night live program built on caller interaction, alumni guests and unfiltered fan opinion. He now anchors a crew of hosts, producers and designers, and the show’s on-air signature — “It ain’t no me without U, baby” — is the operating philosophy, not a catchphrase.
Off the air, D is a co-owner of LoydBernard, the show’s merch and apparel brand.
