The Rundown Take
Senior Day Setup: U Talk Breaks Down a 5-4 Miami vs. a 5-3 Louisville
Ahead of Miami's home finale and Senior Day against Louisville, Devin's fourth episode is part scouting report, part tribute — a stat-driven breakdown of the Cardinals followed by a shoutout to every senior suiting up for the last time at home.
Key Takeaways
- Louisville comes in averaging 226 passing yards and 219 rushing yards per game, but its defense ranks near the bottom of the FBS, allowing 437 total yards a contest.
- Devin's offensive keys: win up front, establish the run, and play mistake-free football like the last two weeks against Pitt and Florida State.
- Defensively, he wants discipline against a mobile Louisville quarterback — stay in the rush lane, tackle under control, and don't give up big plays off misdirection.
- Devin closes the episode calling out Miami's senior class by name, thanking them for their careers as Hurricanes.
- Seniors saluted include Pat Bell, Robert Knowles, Jimmy Murphy, K.J. Osborn, Michael Pinckney and Jack Spicer.
Keep It Simple
Devin keeps his keys to victory deliberately short — three points on offense, four on defense — betting that a disciplined, mistake-free Miami beats a Louisville squad that can move the ball but can't stop anybody. The bulk of the episode, though, belongs to the seniors: a straightforward, heartfelt thank-you to the class playing its final home game.
